It administers securitisation portfolios, investment and debt structures to protect the interests of our clients' investors.
Corporate trust supports clients locally and overseas with a unique offering through five key service offerings: Debt Market Services; Managed Fund Services; Perpetual Asia, headquartered in Singapore; Perpetual Digital, and Laminar Capital.
Following the completion of a comprehensive Strategic Review in May 2024, it was announced that Perpetual Limited will become a standalone Asset Management business and has entered into an agreement with an affiliate of Kohlberg Kravis Roberts (KKR) who will acquire the Corporate Trust and Wealth Management businesses.
About the role You will assist the Perpetual Corporate Trust Accounting team in providing accurate and timely accounting services to managers of securitisation trusts, and managed investment trusts (MITs).
Some key responsibilities include:
Preparing periodic management accounts for a portfolio of clients.Preparing audited annual financial statements (Special Purpose and General Purpose Tier-2).Coordinating audit of the financial statements and ensure timely completion of audit.Coordinating preparation and lodgment of income tax return and annual tax reports including AIIR and PAYGW with tax agent.Preparing budgets and liquidity forecasts.Preparing payment directions.Preparing Business Activity Statements (BAS) and Instalment Activity Statements (IAS).Preparing distribution and withholding tax calculations for MITs and some securitisation trusts.Liaising with key internal stakeholders including Trustee, Trust Manager and Investment Manager for the delivery of services under the relevant accounting engagements.
