Graduate Project Engineer

CADDS Group is a leading design and engineering company specialising in brownfields mining and port optimisation projects.
We work with our Clients to maximise the efficiency of their existing facilities, ensuring optimal operational outcomes.
The Graduate Project Engineer will be pivotal in supporting the Projects Team.
Responsible for collating technical information from a variety of sources both internally and externally, in conjunction with the CADDS Group site-based Project Engineers whilst ensuring the consistency of standards, quality and pricing of proposals.
You will primarily be based at our CBD office with 4 days per month spent on-site in the Pilbara, supported by one of our Site Based Project Engineers.
Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare detailed project proposals that demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the Client's requirements and address relevant risks and opportunities, whilst capitalising on CADDS Group's diverse business capabilities.Accurately document specific project goals, deliverables, tasks, costs, and deadlines.Display commercial understanding in proposal development.Liaising with relevant internal subject matter experts and external vendors (as required) to ensure accurate information is collated and reflected in proposals.Monitoring and taking appropriate follow-up actions under the guidance of the Project Superintendent to maximise the acceptance success of quoted pipeline works.Regular site visitation to client sites (Pilbara-based) supported by one of our experienced Site Project Engineers.Benefits and Work EnvironmentCentral CBD office located on St Georges Terrace, with modern finishes and a rooftop terrace.Newly renovated, high-quality end of trip & wellness facilities within the Brookfield complex.Regular, supported mine site experience (one, 4-day trip, monthly).Well established and supportive team, who are driven by team success.Exposure to a range of diverse and challenging projects.Excellent opportunities for career growth.RequirementsStructural/Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management or similar Bachelor's degree.Will consider recent graduates or applicants with 1 – 3 years of experience.Strong technical aptitude and a desire to learn new skills in mining.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to effectively problem solve and prioritise conflicting deadlines.Demonstrated planning, time management and organisational skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office package essential, project management tools desirable but not essential.Willingness to travel to Tier 1 Mining sites once a month.Desire to be part of a high-performing team.Australian or New Zealand citizen, or Australian permanent resident.If you are passionate about a long-term career in Project Engineering/Management utilising your technical know-how, then click the 'APPLY' button to submit your application.
