Qualships Pty Ltd is a highly specialised marine service operator undertaking all forms of marine surveying services including cargo-related vessel surveying, internal audits, hull and machinery repairs, electrical repairs and troubleshooting, technical inspections, and report writing.
This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced Ship's Master to join a fast-growing organisation, drive change, and help the organisation deliver on its strategic goals.
The person we are looking for must be a team player and a future leader, looking to assist with the continued growth and improvement of the company and grow themselves along with the company.

Duties: Carry out inspections to align the ship for various audits, surveys, and inspections.Implement and customize safety culture with various clients.Monitor safe loading, discharging, supervising, and carriage of various cargo as per standards prescribed in the IMSBC code.Carry out ISM/ISPS/MLC audits of the vessels.Support the onboard management for various systems onboard for effective port operations.Manage audits and surveys for various inspections along with class surveyors.Conduct pre-purchase inspections.Provide training onboard at the management level on ships.Conduct incident investigations on ships.Perform inspections on the ships in compliance with terminal requirements.What we are looking for: Current Certificate of Competency is required.At least 2 years' experience in a related role.Degree level qualified.Experience in the marine industry.Excellent problem-solving abilities.Punctual, enthusiastic, and hardworking.Fully vaccinated.Only suitable candidates will be contacted. #J-18808-Ljbffr
