As the Manager of Innovation and Technology, you will play a key role in bringing cutting-edge technology and fresh ideas to our exploration efforts.
You'll be at the heart of transforming how we discover and evaluate mineral resources across the globe.
Your mission is to build smarter systems, introduce game-changing tools, push the boundaries of exploration and help teams test more targets, faster.

Description Create a roadmap to drive collaboration, productivity, and efficiency in exploration workflows.
Redefine exploration processes to test more targets and encourage smart risk-taking.
Design and embed systems for testing unconventional targets using data science, alternative models, and creative methodologies.
Leading a Team of Innovators Lead and mentor the Data Science & Innovation team, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and problem-solving.
Share your passion for innovation and empower team members to explore and adopt new technologies.
Develop and implement the innovation and technology strategy for the exploration team, aligning it with overall business goals.
Bringing Technology to Life Identify, test, and roll out advanced tools like machine learning, predictive analytics, and alternative geological modelling techniques.
Collaborate with IT and vendors to ensure tools are user-friendly and enhance exploration efforts.
Turn complex data into clear, actionable insights using dashboards and visualisation tools.
Improving Processes Spot bottlenecks in exploration workflows and develop solutions to overcome them.
Streamline standards and systems to allow quicker and more effective decision-making.
Use agile methods to enhance communication, planning, and collaboration within and across teams.
Data Management Make sure exploration data is accurate, accessible, and easy to use.
Oversee how data is collected, stored, and maintained, so teams can rely on it for decision-making.
Dive into the numbers to uncover new exploration opportunities and refine targeting strategies.
Driving Projects That Matter Lead exploration technology projects from start to finish, ensuring they stay on track and deliver results.
Be the go-to person for integrating innovation into exploration, bridging the gap between technology and geology, and driving cross-functional initiatives.
Profile A successful Manager of Technology and Innovation should have:
Minimum of 7 years in Data Science related field or technology leadership within the mining or exploration industry.
Proven track record in managing teams and leading technology-focused projects.
Strong problem-solving abilities and a practical, hands-on approach.
Expert in geological systems, data analysis tools, and emerging technologies.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to inspire and influence others.
Strong computer literacy skills in both standard business and geology specific software.
