Located in the beautiful Northern Rivers suburb of Ballina, NSW - just 20 minutes from Byron Bay and an hour from the Gold Coast - our not-for-profit, independent client's aged care facility is looking for a Clinical Care Manager / ACCM to lead and inspire a dedicated team, delivering top-quality clinical care and ensuring positive outcomes for their residents.
This position will initially be offered as a 12-month contract with potential for permanency, though this can be negotiated for the ideal candidate.
About the Role The Clinical Care Manager supports the Facility Manager - Clinical, leading the clinical team in delivering the best possible care.
This role includes:
Mentorship and guidance for Clinical Care Coordinators and Registered NursesSetting clinical priorities, managing daily staff work plans, and overseeing resident intake processesSupporting new clinical staff through a structured 12-week Employee Embedding ProgramUpholding Aged Care Standards and optimising clinical operations, policies, and best practicesKey Responsibilities Leadership & Clinical Support: Provide direct supervision, training, and mentorship to clinical staff, fostering a positive, team-oriented environmentQuality Improvement: Lead quality initiatives, conduct audits, and maintain high standards in care planning, medication management, wound care, dementia support, and palliative careOperations Management: Oversee daily clinical operations, including restrictive practice compliance, performance reviews, call bell response monitoring, and moreCollaboration & Compliance: Engage in interdisciplinary meetings, support AN-ACC submissions, participate in incident management, and ensure adherence to regulatory guidelinesWhat We're Looking For Qualifications: Bachelor's (or higher) in Nursing with AHPRA Registration (no restrictions)Experience:Minimum of 10+ years as an RN3+ years in Aged CareAt least 1 year as a CCM or Acting CCM (ACCM)Skills & Attributes:Relational LeadershipInspirational Qualities - Passionate, Humble & EncouragingClinical Expertise in Aged CareCore Values - Caring, Honesty, Openness, Integrity & RespectKeen focus on Clinical Governance - Compliance mindsetSolid Reporting & Data AnalysisSubmit your CV to or call for a confidential chat on to discuss this exciting opportunity.
