**The Role**As the **Emergency Services Coordinator** Cook Colliery, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance of standard 8 (emergency services).
We offer an attractive rotation, along with a competitive salary for the successful candidate.
This role will support the site in emergency preparedness, planning and response including responding to site emergencies and maintaining all equipment in a state of operational readiness.
Key Responsibilities * Conduct formal fire audits - underground & surface level* Conduct annual pressure tests* Conduct local fire operations training* Maintaining records ensuring compliance of standard 8 (emergency services)* Prepare and maintain emergency response equipment & first aid* Review & streamline current emergency services processes, procedures, plans and policies**Qualifications and Requirements:*** Certificate III in Mine Emergency Response and Rescue (mandatory)* Previous experience in emergency management within mining or heavy industry environment* Excellent organisational and time management skills, including the ability to plan, coordinate and manage competing priorities whilst adhering to compliance deadlines* Standard 11 & coal board medical (highly advantageous)**Why Cook Colliery:*** **Innovation:** Be part of a team that embraces innovation and leverages cutting-edge technologies to shape the future of mining.
