People Advisor

Macmahon is looking for a proactive People Advisor to join our Surface Mining People Operations team, supporting our Greenbushes Lithium Mine Site.
Reporting to the People Superintendent, you'll deliver hands-on generalist HR support, partnering with leaders and employees to improve employee experience and business performance.
This role focuses on practical talent management, culture and compliance solutions helping our teams work effectively and grow.

About the roleProvide accurate advice, coaching and high-level support on all HR/ER related mattersManage or support workplace investigations, performance management and disciplinary processesAnalyse and interpret data and HR metrics to identify workforce trends and understand and respond to workforce needsPartner with stakeholders to complete cyclical people activitiesRegular site travel to Greenbushes Mine Site and other projects as required (at least once a fortnight)Permanent full-time opportunity with growth and development opportunitiesAbout youCertificate, Diploma, or bachelor's degree in human resources, or a related fieldProven experience in a similar role, preferably within the mining industryDemonstrated knowledge and experience implementing employment legislation and HR policies and proceduresAbility to work independently on an assigned portfolio of work but also as a collaborative team memberDeveloped critical thinking and decision-making skillsHold a valid C Class Driver's LicenceBe able to travel to site on a fortnightly basis and comfortable driving for extended periods of timeExperience using SuccessFactors (preferred but not essential)Employee benefitsHead-office based roleFree undercover parkingIncredible staff gym with personal trainers and regular fitness classesDedicated lifestyle, financial and mental health supportSalary sacrifice options for flights, vehicles, airport parking and so much moreAccess to a wide range of employee discounts with Macmahon retail, vehicle, insurance and banking partnersOngoing career development opportunities to "Challenge.
