About the role
This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team as a Financial Controller based in South Brisbane and Northern Gold Coast, QLD.
In this full-time role, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations and providing strategic financial guidance to support our growth and success.
We have multiple entities that operate in the Manufacturing, Retail and Wholesale Trade, and Hospitality sectors.
What you'll be doing
Manage the company's financial reporting, budgets, and forecasts to ensure accurate and timely information Oversee accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and other financial processes Analyse financial data and provide insights to help inform strategic business decisions Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment Contribute to the development and implementation of financial strategies to support the company's long-term goals What we're looking for
Proven experience as a Financial Controller or in a senior finance role, preferably in the Accounting industry Strong knowledge of financial management principles, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights Highly proficient in the use of financial software and accounting systems Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with stakeholders at all levels A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, and a professional accounting qualification (CPA or CA) is preferred Experience in the Finance Industry What we offer
