Synergy is proud to be Western Australia's largest electricity generator and energy retailer. We deliver secure electricity to homes and businesses throughout the Southwest Interconnected System (SWIS) from Coral Bay in the north, to Kalgoorlie in the east, and to Esperance in the south.
Role Description The People & Capability Business Partner Role is an opportunity in our Organisational Development and Partnering Team based at our Perth Central Park site. The purpose of this role is to provide support to the business partner team by being the 'first line of contact' for Synergy in people-related matters that are typically within the remit of the business partner team.
Job Responsibilities Conduct HR first line contact – triage and provide timely and practical HR advice across all areas of the business and to key stakeholder groups that align with Synergy's formal documents e.g. code of conduct, policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines.Support to the OD & Partnering team in the employee lifecycle process, support the annual HR cycle and support HR related project work, including process improvement and automation.Work closely with the Senior P&C Business Partners to ensure that all customer-related enquiries and tasks are managed in an accurate and timely manner with queries including performance management issues, grievances, case management, escalating complex issues.Manage HR-related information via the Document Management (DM) system by ensuring data is filed in a timely manner with the correct accessibility and that information is archived as appropriate.Contribute to the design and implementation of relevant HR services, processes, and practices.What You Will Bring Relevant tertiary qualifications in human resources or related fields (Diploma or Cert IV).A sound understanding of employment legislation and best practice.Experience working as a HR practitioner at an advisory/business partner level.What We Offer Working for an employer of choice also means you will enjoy:
