About the role
Resource Mine Management (RMM), through our US business American Mine Management (AMM) has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Professional to join our growing team as a Principal Consultant - Mobile Maintenance (Opencut Mining).
This full-time role will see you providing mentoring, strategic insights and leading the development and implementation of mobile maintenance solutions across our global operations.

This role is suited to an experienced open cut Mobile Maintenance Manager or Superintendent looking for a satisfying challenge which is a bit different from the usual day-to-day management roles.

The role is a key member of a long-term site-based transformation project team developing our client's maintenance capability and capacity, in one of the best mining locations.
It has NASCAR , PGA , NFL , NBA and work all within a 40-minute drive.

Note: due to visa requirements this role is only open to Australian, Canadian, or American citizens.

What you'll be doing
Lead the implementation and optimisation of mobile maintenance programs for our client sites.
Manage a team of mobile maintenance specialists to ensure projects are delivered on time and to the highest standards.
Analyse operational data and provide recommendations to improve mobile equipment availability, reliability and maintainability.
Develop innovative mobile maintenance strategies to drive continuous improvement.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve complex maintenance challenges.
Provide expert technical advice and mentoring to upskill maintenance personnel at the trade, Supervisor and Superintendent level.
What we're looking for
12+ years of progressive experience, with 5+ years working at or above the Superintendent level in opencut mobile equipment maintenance, electric drive truck experience is also welcomed.
Demonstrated expertise in leading and managing mobile maintenance teams and projects.
Strong technical knowledge of mining mobile equipment and maintenance best practices.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and simplify solutions to address complex maintenance issues.
Proven ability to drive continuous improvement and implement innovative maintenance solutions.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability and willingness to travel to mine sites globally and work on rosters.
Tertiary level qualifications, or 12 years demonstratable senior maintenance history, with the ability to obtain confirmation letters from past employers, which is required for the AMM US visas.
