Position Overview The Head of Talent will lead the people management strategy for L.E.K.'s Australian offices, working closely with partners to deliver the strategic talent agenda and implement key talent initiatives across the Sydney and Melbourne offices. In this pivotal role, you will lead a high-performing HR function and have a genuine seat at the leadership table.

This role is integral to fostering a dynamic, high-performance culture and enhancing the overall employee experience, while managing HR related operations and interfacing with Regional and Global talent.
Key Responsibilities People Strategy and Partnership Collaborate to define and execute a people strategy focused on high performance, our employee value proposition, and a positive experienceProvide thought leadership and advise executives on talent trends and best practicesChair the Operations Committee, setting agendas, preparing materials, and ensuring follow-through on commitmentsEmployee Experience Develop and champion initiatives to boost engagement, retention, and overall experienceImplement programs promoting diversity, equity, and inclusionAct as a culture ambassador to foster a high-performance, collaborative, and well-being-focused work environmentUse Global People Survey insights to refine local people strategiesStrategic Workforce Planning Oversee strategic workforce planning by analysing data to forecast needs and inform planningBuild talent pipelines for key roles and future needsImplement strategies to boost productivity, profitability, and efficiency, while managing workforce risksEnhance diversity, equity, and inclusion; monitor and report on related metricsOversee the Allocations Manager to balance resource allocation with workforce planning goalsTalent Acquisition Develop innovative strategies to attract top candidates at all levelsOversee the recruitment process to ensure a positive candidate experienceBuild relationships with universities and search agenciesMaintain a strong employer brand to attract and retain top talentUse data and analytics to evaluate and improve recruiting strategiesTalent Development Design and implement development programs to meet strategic and operational objectivesIdentify high-potential employees and support their developmentFoster a feedback, coaching, and mentorship cultureOversee performance management to align with organisational goals and valuesTalent Operations Manage people programs like mobility, international swaps, MBA sponsorship, and diversity initiatives.Implement a new global HRIS in the Australian officeEnsure compliance with employment laws and regulationsMeasure and report key metrics such as recruitment yields and attrition ratesDevelop and mentor the talent team, enhancing efficiency and effectivenessManage the talent budget efficientlyCandidate Requirements: 10+ years' relevant experience in a professional services environment, with experience in a consulting/advisory firm preferredUniversity degree or coursework in human resources management, psychology, or business-related disciplineAbility to think strategically, execute operationally and make data driven decisionsStrong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise in a dynamic and constantly changing environmentA continuous improvement mindset, adapting thinking and approaches as neededExceptional interpersonal skills, approachable with the ability to build strong internal and external relationshipsHigh level of professionalism, enthusiasm, and a positive, team-oriented attitudeDemonstrated influencing and coaching skillsUnderstanding of employment legislationResilience and tenacity under pressureDiversity and Inclusion at L.E.K.
