Expression of interest – Manager Funding Systems and DataTemporary opportunity until December 2025Clerk Grade 11/12 roleWe have an exciting opportunity for internal candidates to express interest in the Manager Funding Systems and Data role, within the newly established Funding, Policy, and Reform team.About The TeamThe Funding, Policy and Reform team is responsible for leading the review of the Disaster Assistant Guidelines (DAG) as well as implementation reforms required to address the findings of the Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements (DRFA) Review, including leading change to strengthen funding administration capability for DAG and DRFA measures within the Reconstruction Authority, rather than the decentralised approach presently.About The RoleWe are seeking a highly motivated and strategic Manager, Funding Systems and Data to lead the development and delivery of cutting-edge information technology projects that support disaster recovery and reconstruction efforts across NSW.In this role, you will drive the scoping, design, and implementation of IT systems that enable the effective management and reporting of recovery programs funded through the DAG and DRFA.You'll work closely with key stakeholders, including NSW Government Departments and Councils, ensuring that systems are delivered in compliance with regulatory and audit requirements.What You'll Bring To The RoleA proven track record in leading IT projects within complex environments, ideally within the disaster recovery space.Strong project management skills with the ability to scope, design, and deliver systems that meet regulatory and audit requirements.Expertise in managing cross-functional teams, collaborating with stakeholders and driving project success.A strategic mindset with a focus on ensuring systems are fit for purpose and deliver lasting impact on recovery and reconstruction efforts.Substantial experience in managing funding allocations and financial systems.Understanding of bi-lateral funding arrangements in general and the DRFA in particular are desirable.To ApplyIf excited by the information above, we look forward to receiving your application, including a copy of your resume and cover letter expressing your interest and suitability for the role.Applications close Sunday 19 January 2025 at 11:55pm.Should you require further information about the role please contact Andrew Graham, Chief Financial and Operating Officer via for more information or assistance in applying?This EOI is part of our agency's equal employment opportunity.
