The Role:
The Department of Surgery is looking for a Consultant/Specialist Urologist to join their team on a Permanent Full-Time and/or Part-Time basis.
Total remuneration value of up to $514,452 This is a wonderful opportunity to enhance your career working in a stunning tropical location in a redeveloped Hospital equipped with leading edge technology

Attractive relocation package The ideal applicant will be someone who can demonstrate the following: Demonstrated recent ability to perform a broad range of surgical specialties.
Demonstrated ability to function as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Proven ability in surgery and patient care as deemed by the College.
Extensive experience and ability to deliver high-quality patient care services.
Understanding of and high-level ability to apply contemporary leadership principles to develop and maintain an effective and motivated team.
High level ability to identify and resolve issues using an innovative approach where appropriate.

This is a level 2 hospital (354 beds) with 24-hour cardiac intervention, trauma service, medical specialties including Respiratory, Nephrology, Neurology, Endocrine, Rheumatology, Oncology on site with visiting specialists in other disciplines.

Palm fringed beaches and crystal-clear waters are your playground for fishing and water sports.
The region also hosts native rainforests that are popular hiking destinations.
With an average annual temperature over 26 degrees, the region offers the best of the Australian experience in typical laid back "Aussie Style."

Mandatory qualifications/Professional registration:
Fellowship or eligibility for Fellowship with the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS) (Urology) or equivalent registrable with the Medical Board of Australia.
