Located 38 kilometres south of Mackay, DBCT P/L operates with a name plate capacity of 85 million tonnes per annum exporting coal from Central Queensland to ports around the world.

What we are looking for:
Permanent role 5 on / 2 off roster Competitive package We are currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Planner to join our Planning Team.
As a key member of this team, you will be accountable for planning and delivery of weekly maintenance work schedules, planning and scheduling small outages, maintaining master data to provide clarity of work, reporting and governance over site Mechanical Services Infrastructure.
You will be responsible for creating safe, quality maintenance plans in collaboration with the maintenance teams in alignment with the work management processes.
Workflow management will be a focus of this role to monitor completion of work activities, evaluate the effectiveness of maintenance plans and to ensure that plans are delivered to optimise terminal reliability.
You will be:

able to achieve outcomes through coaching and mentoring of the maintenance teams.

You will have:
relevant qualifications and/or trade qualifications e.g., mechanical background is desirable knowledge and experience in short term maintenance planning (desirable) experience using a Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) - JDE or similar the desire to make a difference in your area of accountability.
the ability to work autonomously and as part of a high performing team.
knowledge of and experience in the application of modern maintenance methods.
experience in a continuous processing and large-scale materials handling environment (essential).
