This dynamic product development consultancy has already seen tremendous growth and is looking for a Project Manager with proven experience relating to the development of electronic, software and mechanical products to help us service an expanding pipeline of exciting projects.
This role would suit a seasoned project manager, or an experienced lead designer/engineer that is looking to take the next step in their career.

Typical responsibilities & activities include:
Meet with clients to determine project needs & develop project plans/proposals Conduct detailed research to determine the most effective strategy for product architecture design and project delivery Manage multi-disciplinary product development resources (electronics, firmware, software, mechanical) as needed to deliver the project Deliver high quality research and update presentations to Clients Manage project budgets, timelines, scope, BOMs, and client reporting Work closely with our Department Heads, Clients and other Engineers to ensure deliverables are fit for purpose Liaise with suppliers and manufacturers to arrange prototyping and production Own the client relationship, and ensure our clients receive a professional and premium experience with all interactions Provide feedback into our processes and infrastructure to support future company growth The ideal candidate will have most of the following:
At least 5 years of product design experience in a relevant field Previous hardware, electronics and software experience essential Have previously performed a similar role in another company, or are looking to move from a design leadership position into a managerial role An in-depth understanding of product development and manufacturing Technical leadership and/or project management experience Outgoing and enjoys working with people Outstanding written and verbal communications skills in English Highly organised and well presented A high capacity and willingness to learn about continuously evolving technologies Relevant tertiary qualifications, such as in Electronics or Mechatronic Engineering Previous consultancy experience will be highly regarded This role is based in our Sydney office and is unsuitable for remote workers.
Salary will be negotiable based on experience.
