Senior Programmes and Governance Consultant Drive strategic initiatives and governance as our Senior Programmes and Governance Consultant.
As the Senior Programmes and Governance Consultant you will be at the forefront of designing and delivering strategic initiatives that enhance the Recruitment and Events Delivery function.

Job Description As the Senior Programmes and Governance Consultant you will support with the design and delivery of strategic initiatives and develop governance activities that builds and sustains a productive, efficient and compliant Recruitment and Events Delivery function.
Working across multiple teams and functions you will be integral to supporting the delivery of key projects, policies and procedures and fostering a culture of innovation and achievement.
You should be comfortable engaging senior leaders, collaborating across teams, and using human-centred design to develop innovative solutions.
You will: Coordinate and facilitate the development, implementation, and monitoring of strategic initiatives and programmes, policies and procedures ensuring alignment with organisational goals and driving operational excellence.
Coordinate the delivery of the RFSU programme.
Implement and enhance monitoring activities to ensure effective control operation and risk identification.
Provide support in business process management, risk management, compliance, project and policy management.
Provide governance SME advice for various divisional projects.
Develop top quality communications for the Head of Function relating to regular cadence meetings with senior management.
Develop strong relationships with internal stakeholders and contribute to management reporting.
Support with escalations and analyse candidate complaints and candidate satisfaction surveys process and results.
Ensure governance frameworks and processes are maintained, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices in corporate governance.
Support the timely response to and clearance of quality or audit assigned items to Recruitment and Events Delivery.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including senior leaders, government officials, industry partners, and other influential entities.

Your background will demonstrate: Experience in project and programme management, ideally within consulting.
Skills in human-centred design, and assurance activities.
Strong communication abilities, including the development of high-quality artefacts and briefings.
Experience engaging with diverse stakeholders and building commitment to drive outcomes.
Ability to manage operational, procedural, and administrative enquiries effectively.
Experience in implementing new policies and procedures with a focus on compliance.
Consulting experience, particularly in the Defence sector, is highly desirable.
Tertiary qualifications in Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field are advantageous.
