Procurement Governance and Performance ManagerThis organisation is seeking an experienced Procurement Governance and Performance Manager to join their team and lead the strategic design and execution of procurement governance and performance frameworks.
This role is pivotal in driving continuous improvement, spend analytics, and reporting strategies to ensure alignment with Queensland State Government policies and legislation.
About the RoleReporting to the General Manager Procurement, you will lead the development of innovative procurement practices that enhance stakeholder experiences and elevate commercial acumen across the organisation.
You will be responsible for building a structured internal procurement governance framework and collaborating with stakeholders to implement scalable, risk-based contract management solutions.
Key responsibilitiesLead the establishment of a strategic focus on contemporary procurement systems, analytics, and reporting practices;Design and maintain a procurement governance framework, including controls, monitoring, and reporting mechanisms;Build and maintain a library of tools and templates for the procurement lifecycle;Oversee corporate purchase-to-pay activities and supplier risk management reporting;Develop and implement contract and supplier relationship management frameworks;Drive continuous improvement in procurement processes and stakeholder engagement.About YouTo be successful in the role you will have:
Tertiary qualifications in procurement, business, commerce, law, supply chain or other relevant degrees;Three plus years' experience in a senior procurement or governance role;Proven ability to develop procurement strategies, cost models, and key performance indicators;Experience leading teams, managing centralised spend data, and utilising SAP or equivalent financial systems;Strong analytical skills and the ability to present data-driven insights to stakeholders.How to ApplyFor more information or a confidential discussion please call Emily Leighton at u&u on or email quoting reference number 39329.
