Due to significant organisational growth, we're seeking an experienced Speech Pathologist to join our team.Our team is engaging, collaborative, and committed to helping you achieve your full potential.
You'll work alongside experienced clinicians with extensive field knowledge and supportive management dedicated to developing your skills and advancing your clinical career.Take your next step with HenderCare.About the RoleAs the Speech Pathologist, you will play a key role in the delivery of quality, coordinated, efficient and evidence-based services to participants of the NDIS and disability clients, which include adults, and older persons, under the auspice of other funding arrangements.Your responsibilities also include:Managing a clinical caseload of adults with complex needs with a high degree of independence with a high standard of clinical practice.Undertaking Speech Pathology evaluations, providing training, strategies and recommendations that impact positively service recipients, engagement, function, safety and participation in their daily activities.Actively participate in supervision processes as arranged, which includes participation in HenderCare's performance review process.Provide supervision and support to other Speech Pathologists or allied health members within HenderCare's Allied Health team.Participate in quality improvement, research and service development programs and projects as required.About YouWe are looking for innovative and passionate people who thrive in the fast-paced environment of Allied Health.
You'll show a strong commitment to high-quality client care using evidence-based practices.Our ideal candidate will bring:A minimum of 2 years' experience in Speech Pathology servicesDemonstrated knowledge of a broad variety of disabilities for adultsRelevant tertiary qualifications in Speech Pathology.SPA membership (or eligible to register)Exceptional interpersonal and communication skillsStrong organisational skills, exercise initiative and manage competing prioritiesStrong computer literacy skills and the ability to adapt to new platformsHold a full driver's licenceOnly applicants with the right to work in Australia will be considered.
