Mechanic - Heavy Vehicle

About the Position We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join a government department in Eagle Farm.
Contribute to the maintenance of light, medium, and heavy commercial vehicle fleet.
Key responsibilities include:
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues in vehicles.Perform maintenance, servicing, and repairs on vehicles including trucks, buses, and commercial vehicles.Conduct inspections to identify potential problems and recommend necessary repairs.Ensure all work is completed to high-quality standards and within specified timeframes.Collaborate with team members to efficiently address technical challenges.Always adhere to safety guidelines and protocols.Requirements: Experience or qualifications as a mechanic (heavy or light vehicle)Proficiency in general cab chassis maintenanceSkills in small engine maintenance, including generators and pumpsMR License (desirable)This role is offered on a short-term contract for up to 3 months, with the opportunity to extend.
