About the role Due to an increased demand for reliability improvements and maintenance efficiency and capacity within the team, the Reliability Engineer is required with an immediate start to assist the maintenance teams in achieving performance metrics and continuously improving operational processes, prioritizing safety.
You must be able to demonstrate: Proven experience in reliability engineering within a mining or heavy industry context.Strong analytical skills with a focus on data-driven decision-making.Excellent communication skills for stakeholder engagement.Hands-on experience with maintenance practices: Practical knowledge of maintenance procedures and techniques for mobile and fixed equipment.Proficiency in root cause analysis (RCA): Demonstrated ability to conduct thorough RCA to identify underlying issues and develop corrective actions.Experience with condition monitoring technologies: Familiarity with tools and techniques used for monitoring equipment health and performance.Ability to work independently and in a team environment: Proven capability to manage tasks autonomously while collaborating effectively with team members.Adaptability and flexibility: Willingness to adapt to changing conditions and requirements within the operational environment.If successful, you will be rewarded with: Highly competitive industry ratesInitial 6 Month Temp contract + strong probability of extension5:2 | 4:3 Roster ex-Perth to WA Coastal PilbaraSuperannuation Contribution on ALL hours workedDedicated Senior Consultant for Candidate CareWeekly Pay + Access to Chandler Macleod's EAP ProgrammeHuge focus on safety and welfare of all contractorsWhat Skill Set Do I Require? Mechanical or Electrical Engineering DegreeTertiary or trade qualifications in maintenance and/or engineering disciplines, with practical experience focused on mobile equipment in the mining industry, specifically:Experience with Mobile and Fixed Flashbutt WeldersTrucksLoadersExcavatorsTrailersKnowledge of condition monitoring techniques and experience in developing and managing Maintenance Strategies for mobile/fixed equipmentAdvanced proficiency in MS OfficeFamiliarity with SAP Master DataCertifications such as CMRP (Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional) or CRE (Certified Reliability Engineer)Experience with predictive maintenance technologiesExperience with data analytics tools: Proficiency in software such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools for data visualization and analysisDiverse and female candidates are strongly encouraged to applyYOU MUST HAVE AUSTRALIAN WORKING RIGHTS AND BE RESIDING IN THE PERTH METROPOLITAN AREA FOR THIS ROLE.
