Who we are VAGO is part of Victoria's integrity system, independent to Parliament and helps hold the Victorian Government accountable by conducting financial and performance audits and assurance reviews of public sector agencies.
VAGO conducts over 560 financial audits annually across a diverse range of portfolios including infrastructure, transport, health, education local government and financial corporations.

About the opportunity Our Financial Audit division is a diverse group of approximately 80 highly motivated audit professionals.
We currently have multiple VPS3.1 opportunities where you will be part of a supportive team committed to professional excellence that will help you build skills to advance your career.
VPS3 Auditors in Financial Audit are collaborative employees with the ability to balance rigour and innovation in their approach to work.
They directly contribute to the delivery of financial audits and business improvement projects.
They are motivated by the challenge of promoting continuous improvement in the Victorian public sector.
What you'll do Auditors at VAGO are collaborative employees with the ability to balance rigour and innovation in their approach to work.
As team members they directly contribute to the delivery of financial audits and assists on business improvement projects as required.
They are motivated by the challenge of promoting continuous improvement in the Victorian public sector.
Auditors continually seek to improve their technical and soft skills by actively participating in the audit training program available at VAGO.
They are also supported to attain either a Certified Practising Accountant (CPA), Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CAANZ) or Institute of Public Accountants (IPA) accreditation, via coursework support, access to study leave and reimbursement of fees for subjects that are passed.
