The Data Center Global Services team is looking for exceptional individuals to join our Controls organization as Controls Engineer for deploying and servicing of the building automation systems within Amazon data centers.

You will possess a technology background that enables you to undertake the challenges of sophisticated controls platforms and a demonstrated ability to think broadly and strategically in aligning building controls and automation with the larger objectives of the business.Key job responsibilitiesDeployment of data center controls, on time, with effective management of vendors to ensure minimal defects at the point of Power and Facilities Hand-Off (PFHO)Delivery of critical projects to upgrade data center automationService and support provided to partner teams, providing diagnosis and resolution of Loss of Visibility (LOV), Loss of Resilience (LOR), Large Scale Event (LSE), Critical Scale Event (CSE), and other operations impacting eventsResolution of tasks within predefined Service Level Agreements (SLAs)Delivery of further initiatives to improve the efficiency of our data centers or our operations proceduresBASIC QUALIFICATIONS3+ years of experience in building unified automated control system for enterprise level clients3+ years of experience with PLC or SCADA programming, and scripted programming languagesSolid experience in inspection, testing, and commissioning of control systemsPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSCritical environments experience : data centers (preferred) or other critical environments (defense, pharmaceutical, hospitals, research laboratories, oil and gas)Experience with BMS and / or EPMS solutions of Apogee, Building Controls, Struxureware / EcoStruxure, FactoryTalk, Niagara, Metasys, Foreseer, Decathlon, IgnitionWorking knowledge of Industrial Protocols : BACnet, Modbus, MQTT, OPCIDE statement : Amazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
