Senior Project Risk Manager

This role will be responsible for identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks associated with strategic and operational projects across the bank.
Key Responsibilities: Identify potential risks across all stages of project lifecycles (initiation, planning, execution, and closure), including financial, operational, compliance, and reputational risks.
Develop and implement project-specific risk management frameworks and processes.
Conduct risk assessments and document risk scenarios, probability, impact, and mitigation strategies Develop and implement risk response strategies (avoidance, mitigation, transfer, or acceptance) for identified project risks.
Ensure that projects comply with relevant regulatory requirements, internal policies, and external standards.
Key Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Risk Management, Business Administration, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
5+ years of experience in risk management, project management, or a related role within the financial services or investment banking industry.
Strong understanding of risk management frameworks, methodologies, and regulatory requirements within an investment banking context.
Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples are encouraged to apply.
