The position is primarily responsible for providing a security presence at the client site and providing customer service to staff and visitors.
Your duties will include:Conducting foot patrols;Ensuring property is locked and unlocked as required;Directing and helping visitors and the public to navigate around;Writing reports in response to incidents;Communicating calmly and clearly with key stakeholders;Managing visitors sign-in/induction and maintaining key registers and issuing key passes.About you:The role is being offered as a relief officer within the Myambat region.
We are looking for candidates who possess:Certificate II in Security Operations and current First Aid certificate;Current NSW Security licence;Dedication, reliability, and a commitment to security;Physical fitness and the ability to walk and stand for prolonged periods;Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport;Basic computer literacy skills;The ability to work with minimal supervision and within a team environment;Australian Citizenship for candidates wanting to work within Government Security (due to clearance requirements).If you are interested in joining the security industry but do not hold a qualification or licence, please consider our Scholarship Program.
