We are currently seeking an experienced and compassionate Nurse Unit Manager to join our dedicated team.
The Role As a Nurse Unit Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our Renal Haemodialysis Unit.
You will lead a team of skilled nursing professionals, ensuring high-quality care is delivered to all patients, while fostering an environment of collaboration, innovation and excellence.
About You Do you have a current valid nursing registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency and possess strong clinical expertise and in-depth knowledge of healthcare practices and policies?
You will need excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to lead and inspire a team along with demonstrated ability to manage budgets and resources effectively.
Commitment to ongoing professional development and quality patient care, manage and lead the nursing team, ensuring high standards of clinical care are met.
Supervise and mentor nursing staff, offering guidance and professional development opportunities whilst monitoring and maintaining departmental budgets and resources efficiently.
About Coffs Harbour Located halfway between Sydney and Brisbane you'll find the tranquil seaside nature destination of Coffs coast.
Known for its beaches and the Big Banana monument and amusement park, a nature lovers' paradise, surrounded by national parks and facing the solitary islands marine park, home to abundant wildlife, seasonal whales and coral reefs.
Just east is the Mutton-bird Island Nature Reserve, with its large population of wedge-tailed shearwater birds and learning centre.
The place offers uncrowded beaches, complemented with an abundance of activities and attractions, excellent shopping, fantastic accommodation and award-winning food and drink.
Coffs Harbour Health Campus is a leading regional facility focused on improving health outcomes for the population of approximately 81,000 it services.
The hospital is a level five teaching hospital for medicine, nursing, and allied health and also acts as a hub for health research in the region.

A 357-bed service, CHHC treats nearly 45,000 emergency presentations each year, including patients with a range of serious and life-threatening conditions such as burns and serious trauma.
Coffs Harbour Health Campus is the major referral centre for residents of Coffs Harbour, Bellingen and Nambucca Valley local government areas.
The hospital provides a broad range of general and specialist services including general medicine, general surgery, specialist medicine and surgical services, day surgery, planned and emergency operating theatre surgical services.
The Hospital also has a coronary care unit (including coronary angiography unit), a large intensive care unit, obstetrics, paediatrics, a 24-hour Emergency Department, oncology, palliative care, stroke, acute renal dialysis, mental health services (including high dependency) and outpatient clinics.
In addition to operating a large acute hospital we offer sub-acute services including inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation, a regional psychiatric service, specialist clinics, dialysis and a range of outreach services.
Patients requiring neurosurgery or heart surgery are transferred to other facilities for these procedures.
A rooftop helipad facilitates aeromedical transfers and patient retrieval.

The Organisation The Mid North Coast Local Health District (MNCLHD) is a government funded health organization that covers an area of 11,335 square kilometers extending from Port Macquarie in the south to Coffs Harbour in the north.
MNCLHD provides a diverse range of services to a population of approximately 215,000 people.
It has a workforce of 4,694 across seven hospitals sites and 12 Community Health Centres.
This is a Category A position.
