About The Role
Bring your expertise to our team
The People and Culture Business Partner (PCBP) is responsible for the enablement and support of effective workforce management in partnership with stakeholders across the organisation.
Reporting to the People Relations Manager you will have strong industrial relations experience, ideally in a regulated sector and be able to demonstrate contemporary knowledge of employment legislation.
Our partnering model is both hands-on, whilst empowering managers to achieve best practice people management and engaged teams.
You Will Be Responsible For Supporting Employee Relations activities including, ER advice, Award & Legislation interpretation, workplace investigations, performance and conduct issues, and the general navigation of employee life cycle for managers and employeesBuilding influential relationships with business leaders, providing coaching and development in people management knowledge and skillsContributing to the development of P&C best practice solutions, systems and processes with continuous improvement at the heart of our collective successDeveloping maturity in our P&C activities, risk assessment, IR framework and more broadly our business partnering modelCollaborating in a dynamic team that has diverse projects; systems, processes and people – your cup will be filledMcLean Care is an innovative and forward-thinking organisation, with supportive leadership and strong growth.
We offer a flexible working environment where you will work from home with intermittent travel to our sites across NSW and QLD.
Due to the travel requirements of the role, we are ideally seeking candidates in the Newcastle, Tamworth, Toowoomba or Brisbane regions.
You will be provided tools of trade, laptop, mobile and monitor to assist in setting up your remote work environment.
About You Minimum 5 years' experience in People & Culture Advisor or People & Culture Business Partner roleTertiary studies in Human Resources/Industrial Relations/Psychology or other related disciplineStrong analytical skills, ability to dissect complex matters and provide sound adviceExcellent communication skills both written and verbal with experience in report writingDemonstrated experience in workplace investigations, grievance resolution and employee relation mattersA natural team player, you will thrive in a team that is connected and collaborativeStrong computer literacy skills, you are savvy with technology and comfortable with learning new systemsEducation in Workplace Investigations or Training & Assessment an advantageHave a reliable, insured vehicle and current unrestricted driver's licenseWhat's in it for you?
