This is a Permanent Part Time position at 0.4FTE (30.4 hours - Weds/Thurs) per fortnight within the Children's Pain Management Team.
You will be responsible for providing psychology services with the multidisciplinary team with the primary objective to return patients to their normal level of functioning.
You will conduct thorough assessments and develop management plans alongside the pain team, and work collaboratively with the young person and their families towards achieving their goals.
Classification for this position will range from PL1-PL4.
What you'll achieve
Upskilling in the multidisciplinary approach to pain management Provide specialist clinical psychological assessment and intervention for children, adolescents, and their families presenting to the Children's Pain Management Clinic Educate RCH staff, students, and members of the community about psychology services provided in the hospital setting Your skills and experience
Postgraduate training in Clinical or Health Psychology Registration with AHPRA and the Psychology Board of Australia (PsyBA) with endorsement in practice of Clinical or Health Psychology Extensive experience in chronic pain management, mental health, pediatrics or rehabilitation Other requirements:
Current National Criminal Record Check, or willing to obtain Valid Working with Children Check Current NDIS Worker Screening Check, or willing to obtain Compliance with RCH's "Staff Immunisation - Prevention of Vaccine Preventable Diseases" procedure Application process
