We are looking for a skilled and driven Cloud Engineer to join our growing team.
In this role, you will design, deploy, and manage cloud-based infrastructure and services, ensuring that our cloud environments are scalable, secure, and highly available.
You will collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to optimize cloud solutions and contribute to the development of innovative cloud-native applications.

Key Responsibilities: Cloud Architecture & Design: Design and implement scalable, secure, and cost-efficient cloud infrastructure on platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Ensure that cloud solutions align with business goals and best practices.Cloud Deployment & Automation: Automate the provisioning, scaling, and management of cloud resources using infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible) and CI/CD pipelines.Cloud Infrastructure Management: Oversee the deployment and maintenance of cloud-based services, including compute, storage, networking, and database services.
Monitor and manage the health and performance of cloud environments.Security & Compliance: Implement and enforce cloud security best practices, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Manage IAM (Identity and Access Management), encryption, and other security features.Performance Optimization: Monitor cloud performance, optimize resource allocation, and resolve bottlenecks to ensure the highest levels of reliability and cost-effectiveness.Collaboration with Teams: Work closely with developers, DevOps engineers, and other stakeholders to design and support cloud-based applications, troubleshoot issues, and ensure smooth deployment processes.Disaster Recovery & Backup: Develop and implement disaster recovery and backup plans to ensure business continuity in the event of a failure or outage.Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate documentation of cloud architecture, configurations, and workflows.
Provide regular reports on the status of cloud environments, performance, and cost efficiency.Research & Innovation: Stay current on emerging cloud technologies, tools, and best practices.
Propose and implement new technologies and processes to improve cloud infrastructure and services.Required Skills & Qualifications: Strong experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Knowledge of key cloud services (e.g., EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, GCP Compute Engine, etc.
).Proficiency in IaC tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible to automate cloud infrastructure provisioning and management.Knowledge of cloud networking concepts, including VPCs, subnets, firewalls, load balancers, and security groups.
Experience implementing cloud security features like encryption, IAM, and firewalls.Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell to automate cloud management tasks.Experience with cloud monitoring tools (e.g., CloudWatch, Azure Monitor) and performance optimization techniques.Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices to enable continuous integration and delivery of cloud-based applications.Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to resolve complex cloud-related issues quickly and efficiently.Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Cloud certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect, or Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect.Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes.Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or New Relic.Familiarity with serverless computing and technologies (e.g., AWS Lambda, Google Cloud Functions).Experience with disaster recovery planning and implementation in cloud environments.Join Trideca: Where Innovation Meets Inclusivity
