Responsibilities of a Year 5 Teacher: Responsible for the pastoral care of children taking their first steps in Key Stage 2, promoting teamwork, and cultivating a conducive learning environment.Teach the Key Stage 2 curriculum to groups of children while also focusing on each individual child's learning targets, encouraging their strengths, and improving their weaknesses.Further develop maths ability and introduce fractions, statistics, and geometry.Help children develop their writing ability by creating plots, characters, and settings for stories.Keep track of children's progress and occasionally report back to parents.Year 5 Teacher Requirements: QTS, PGCE and strong academic recordCreative, imaginative, determined, resourceful and adaptable practitionerPassionate about learningAble to demonstrate a track record of success within a Year 5 environmentAble to communicate your passion to children and parentsAbility to demonstrate outstanding practice in the classroomApplication If this Year 5 Teacher role interests you, please submit your application form along with an updated CV.
