Role Overview: As part of our Market Specialists team, you will bolster our Sales division by providing expert knowledge in the field.
Your typical day will involve consulting with top-tier decision-makers, aiding in the closure of sales deals, and offering vital input that influences our service and product development.
As a representative at industry events and through various media, you will embody the essence of our brand.
Our diverse team includes experts from various sectors, including buy-side and sell-side professionals, as well as market and industry specialists.
Your primary role will be to enhance our clientele's experience, drive sales, and offer invaluable insights to our sales team and product developers.
Additionally, you will showcase your market acumen by contributing to publications and speaking engagements.
Your Responsibilities: Harness your extensive market experience, trend awareness, and technical prowess to identify and capitalize on revenue opportunities.Serve as a consultative advisor to clients, addressing their challenges with our innovative solutions.Gain a comprehensive understanding of the competitive landscape and its implications for our clients and services.Influence product direction with your thought leadership and innovative ideas, fostering relationships between key decision-makers and our clientele.Craft and execute a strategic roadmap aligned with market insights, product objectives, and organizational goals, while self-monitoring progress and outcomes.Engage actively in projects that propel departmental and organizational objectives.Explore and initiate additional avenues for impact, such as mentorship, training, campaign management, and product development participation.Qualifications: At least 7 years of experience in Financial Services or FinTech.A minimum of 5 years in commodities sales, trading, or research.Proven track record of leading high-level client discussions within the last 5 years.Ability to articulate complex solutions clearly to diverse audiences.Exceptional communication skills for credible client interactions and solution promotion.Business acumen for informed decision-making and tangible commercial impact.Collaborative and business-minded, capable of contributing to both team and company-wide projects in a flat organizational structure.Availability for regular travel within Australia and New Zealand.Proficient presentation, training, and communication skills in English.Evidence of consistent professional advancement within an organization.Bachelor's degree or equivalent educational background.Preferred: Insight into the mining and resources sector.Why Join Us?
