A subsidiary of a global market leader in window coverings and architectural products, it's safe to say our client is a household name in Melbourne. An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Field Sales Manager to lead the VIC business into their next stage of operation.Uniquely, your team of 20 are sales agents. Whilst they are all exclusively engaged to this business, it does require a different style of management. Your influencing skills need to be dialled up and you truly need to be interested in uncovering each individual's currency - understanding what makes them tick.Backing your leadership capability and influencing skills is both a world class sales platform with detailed data sets to guide your time and effort, and an in-house training academy.You don't need to come from the industry, however you do need to have experience managing sales agents or contractors in the field. Managing franchisees is a good transferable skill set. Whilst you are sales led, you don't hunger to own the sell directly - preferring to coach and manage your people through it.You are analytical and have proven experience in managing sales teams through what the data is telling you.
