About The Role
Are you ready to take control of your career?
We're currently seeking both Mechanical and Electrical Technical Writers to join our team.
In this role, you'll work closely with both mechanical and electrical teams to review and improve engineering standards, specifications, and documentation.
Your work will ensure compliance with Australian Standards and best practices.
This is an initial 6-month contract with the possibility of extension, on a 4/3 roster with 12-hour days.
This role is a site-based position, FIFO out of Perth.
Key Responsibilities Manage reviews of engineering standards and specifications against current Australian Standards and best practices with input from engineering personnel.
Prepare templates and forms to standardise and improve electrical procedures.
Develop and maintain electrical processes, procedures, standards, plans, and guidelines in compliance with Australian standards and legislative requirements.
File documents in both physical and digital records, ensuring appropriate storage and access.
Adhere to the company's document lifecycle procedures and processes.
Ensure timely completion of all allocated tasks while maintaining the confidentiality of sensitive documentation.
Undertake any and all duties as directed by the Line Manager/Manager(s).
Benefits Hourly rate between $80 - $90 + superannuation, depending on experience and skill set, paid weekly.

About You To be successful you will need experience in the following:
You must have experience as a Technical Writer in the Mining industry.
You must have experience with mechanical and electrical processes, procedures, and standards.
Strong understanding of Australian Standards and compliance requirements.
You must have Australian working rights for this role.
