This is your opportunity to work with people in some of Australia's largest industry, government and corporate organisations - to be part of a team that provides Employee Assistance Programs (EAP), counselling, crisis response, training, conflict resolution, career counselling, assessment and consulting services.
About the roleThe primary purpose of this role is to focus on the clinical quality of EAP services and provide support nationally to the consultants in line with the company's vision and strategic plan.
Responsibilities include:
Managing and developing a national team of consultants to drive clinical quality, adherence to clinical governance practices and mitigation of client risk.Supporting high performance through leadership principles of self-efficacy, accountability, care and compassion.Managing group supervision to ensure wellbeing, sustainability and high performance.Responding to high-risk clinical presentations, providing clear and sound decision making around mandatory reporting and complex clinical matters.Monitoring NPS and conversion scores, investigating complaints and responding to privacy requests.Supporting consultants to achieve productivity, performance objectives and KPIs.About youYou will be a registered Psychologist, Social Worker or Counsellor and have at least seven years' experience within a supervisory/operational role within the EAP/organisational wellbeing industry.
Along with this you will possess the following experience and competencies:
Proven people management experience, with the ability to provide professional guidance to others in both technical and coach/mentoring settings.Ability to build exemplary internal and external stakeholder relationships.Ability to view issues and problems from the perspectives of the business and the customer.Excellent verbal and written presentation skills e.g., reports, training, proposals.Strong focus on both continuous improvement and commitment to monitor quality of work undertaken.Working knowledge of relevant legislation regarding employee wellbeing e.g.
Bullying, EEO, Health Records Act etc.Demonstrated knowledge and experience in problem solving and conflict resolution.Ability to manage own time, priorities, and workload.Availability to travel as required.Working at Converge means joining a diverse, talented, and caring community where our people feel included, valued and connected.
