Metallurgical Technician

Our Pilgangoora Project is one of the largest, hard-rock lithium operations in the world.THE OPPORTUNITY:Reporting to the Senior Project Metallurgist, the Metallurgical Technician is responsible for taking ownership & working to execute the site metallurgical test work program.
Their role is to effectively assist the metallurgy team with their goals through the completion of test work & reporting, in turn, helping the metallurgists to ensure that concentrate production and associated processing unit operations are controlled in a cost-effective and efficient manner.This is a permanent position, with an 8/6 roster based at our Pilgangoora Operation.Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:Building key relationships with relevant stakeholders.Sample preparation (drying, splitting, pulverizing).Wet & dry sizing.Bench scale flotation test work.Bench scale HLS test work.Processing plant sample collection (routine & ad hoc surveys).Instrumentation verification (pH probes).Reagent strength measurement & tracking (soda ash, flocculant etc.
