About the Role

We currently have an exciting opportunity available in the BMA Learning, Capability and Compliance team for a Specialist Learning, Capability and Compliance (Governance).Reporting to the Superintendent Learning Strategy, Systems and Compliance, you will be part of a supportive and dynamic team within BMA Integrated Operations, responsible for the governance of training requirements and compliance across the Asset.This role will be based in Brisbane working a 5 and 2 roster.Your responsibilities and opportunities for development include:

Perform system audits and governance reviews to preserve system integrity and mitigate risk and ensure compliance with legal and other requirements and the BHP Learning Architecture.
Assess and support the processing of cases / requests to maintain compliance of asset-wide Training Needs Analysis (TNA) and the Learning Management System.
Ensure a high quality of service and support to our customers across our operations to ensure alignment with the BHP Learning Operating Model and business standards.
Develop and maintain documentation which govern the processes, promoting transparency and enabling business insight.
Implementation of changes to the BMA Training Management System and Training Needs Analysis in accordance with BHP Management of Change processes.
Source information, plans and conduct analysis to support evidence based decision making.

About You

You will have:

Considerable experience in using BHP's Learning Management System (LMS) and training management system knowledge.
Knowledge of training related legislative requirements, safety and health management system, management of change and risk management processes.
Customer focused, considering our customers values and requirements.
A passion for continuous improvement.
Ability to interpret data to support decision making.
Strong interpersonal skills to manage and build relationships with a variety of stakeholders.
Strong knowledge and experience in the Microsoft Office Suite.
