Legal Secretary

The Opportunity Considered a dynamic and reputable law firm, McInnes Wilson Lawyers is on the lookout for a Legal Secretary to join their Real Estate & Projects team based in Brisbane.
This role will be working closely with our Senior Paralegal to provide a high level of administrative support to the team and has opportunities for growth and advancement.
Key Responsibilities Opening files;Processing incoming and outgoing payments to our trust and general accounts;Monthly billing and debtor management;Contract administration including preparing basic contracts, maintaining databases and daily bring ups;Liaising with clients, solicitors, real estate agents;Preparing and formatting legal documents;Managing incoming and outgoing mail;Scanning, filing, photocopying and archivingRequirements Previous experience in a legal office (desired but not required for the right candidate);Intermediate typing skills, use of MS office and Adobe;Excellent written and verbal communication skills;A high level of motivation and enthusiasm;A high level of focus and attention to detail;A team player attitude; andStrong organisation skills, together with the ability to manage conflicting priorities simultaneously.About McInnes Wilson Lawyers We are a full-service firm with 53 principals providing high quality legal advisory services across Australia.
