Accounts Payable Officer

An Australian-owned and operated company, Sunlover Reef Cruises has been providing exceptional tours from Cairns to the Great Barrier Reef since 1991.
We take pride in showcasing the reef to visitors from all over the world.
The successful applicant will report to the Accountant and work with a small team of dedicated finance personnel.
The Accounts Payable Officer role is a part-time position (25-30 hours) whose day-to-day duties will include accounts payable and assisting with daily sales reconciliations. Key responsibilities but not limited to: Process creditor invoicesComplete weekly payment runsDaily sales reconciliationsCollaborate closely with various departmentsHandle filing and other ad hoc accounting tasks as requiredSkills and Experience Microsoft Office including Excel, MYOB, or other computerised accounting systemsAbility to process a high volume of transactionsStrong reconciliation skills and attention to detailPrevious experience in the tourism or hospitality industry is preferred but not essential.We offer great staff discount benefits to experience our products as well as rewards for excellent performance.
