If you have a disability or specific access requirements, please let us know how we can offer you additional support.Flexible work environment | hybrid workStable work environment - Victorian Government state-owned enterprise16 weeks paid parental leave (36 unpaid)Free access to on-site gym and end of trip facilitiesTraining and development opportunities to help you grow and develop your careerThe RoleAs the Senior IT&D Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing the IT&D program-of-works, as well as leading and delivering complex IT and Digital projects that support VicTrack's strategic objectives to enhance the value of its rail transport assets. You will work collaboratively with VicTrack stakeholders and other IT&D Project Managers, to establish, plan and deliver IT&D projects, including managing project risks and issues, and ensuring quality outcomes within budget and time constraints. You will also contribute to the continuous improvement of VicTrack's project management practices and standards; developing appropriate project methodologies, reporting processes and PPM tools to support quality outcomes.Key Responsibilities:Developing and establishing project methodologies and toolsIT&D program management and ongoing delivery of the IT&D program of worksPlan and facilitate appropriate Steering CommitteesPlan and establish assigned IT&D projectsExecute, manage, monitor and report on IT&D project progressProject go-live, closure and post-implementation reviewQualifications:A bachelor's degree or diploma in information technology (IT), computer science, software engineering, information systems, cybersecurity, data science or a related technology field (mandatory)Certification of one or more of the following is mandatory:PRINCE2 certification from Axelos; and/orPMP (Project Management Professional) certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI); and/orAgile or Scrum certification from various organisations, such as Scrum Alliance, Scrum.org, or International Consortium for AgileKnowledge & Experience:A minimum of two years' experience managing an IT "program of works" or "portfolio"A minimum of five years' experience as an IT Project Manager, IT Portfolio Manager or IT Program Manager, managing multiple IT projects, such as software engineering/development/deployment, systems integration, IT infrastructure, cloud, solution development/deployment, preferably in a large and complex organisation (essential)Experience utilising an industry recognised project management frameworksExperience and knowledge managing the full project lifecycle, from initiation, planning, execution, monitoring and control, to closure and handoverExperience managing multiple and concurrent IT projects, with varying degrees of complexity, scope, budget and durationExperience managing project stakeholders, including senior management, business users, IT staff, vendors, contractors, etc.Experience managing project risks and issues, including identification, analysis, mitigation, escalation and resolutionExperience managing project communication, including developing and executing communication plans, preparing and delivering project reports and presentations, and facilitating project meetings and workshopsExperience and knowledge of effectively managing project change, including assessing and approving change requests, managing change impacts, and ensuring change readiness and adoptionExperience managing project resources, including planning and allocating human, financial, material and technical resources, as well as managing project procurement and contractsTo ApplyIf you are interested in this exciting opportunity with us, please click apply and submit your resume in PDF format only.
