Health And Safety Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Health and Safety Officer.
As a Health and Safety Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of all employees and visitors in our organization.
This includes implementing and enforcing safety regulations, conducting regular inspections, and providing training programs to promote a safe work environment.
The ideal candidate will have excellent knowledge of health and safety regulations, strong organizational skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization.
ResponsibilitiesDevelop, implement, and maintain health and safety policies and proceduresConduct regular inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulationsInvestigate accidents and incidents, and develop recommendations to prevent future occurrencesProvide training programs to educate employees on proper safety protocolsCoordinate with various departments to ensure all safety requirements are being metAdvise management on health and safety issues, and recommend improvementsMonitor and assess health and safety risks, and develop strategies to mitigate themRequirementsBachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, or a related fieldCertified Health and Safety Professional (CHSP) designation is preferredProven experience in implementing health and safety programsKnowledge of federal, state, and local health and safety regulationsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamAttention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment #J-18808-Ljbffr
