OOSH Project Lead Permanent Full-Time 6 Month Contract role within an innovative and collaborative team.
Make a difference while empowering childcare success.We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated OOSH Project Lead to join our team on a permanent full-time fixed term contract based in our State Office at Sydney Olympic Park.
You will require 2+ years' experience in project coordination, preferably in the Children Services sector.
This position will coordinate and supervise the activities of all projects for PCYC NSW Out of School Hours (OOSH) services to ensure each aspect of the project process is complete and accurate.
This role will motivate team members, foster communication to create a productive work environment and to work collaboratively to deliver the completion and success of OOSH projects.
About the Business Established in 1937, PCYC NSW is a life changing charity collaborating in partnership with communities and NSW Police to empower youth, get kids active in life and reduce and prevent youth crime.
We have sixty-six clubs and eighteen OOSH services across NSW, with a vision for significant growth.
Our aim is to engage with and positively influence over 70,000 youth members through mainstream sport, recreation, education, leadership, and cultural programs.
We also work with at-risk youth to break the cycle of disadvantage through crime prevention, vocational education, youth capacity building and social responsibility programs to enhance the life direction and outcomes of over 7,500 youth per year.
About the Role This is a 6-month fixed term full-time support role, reporting to the General Manager of Programs and Social Impact.
In this role, you will: Support the delivery of OOSH projects by coordinating tasks, schedules, and collaborating with stakeholders.Develop and track projects to ensure timelines are met and team members are working effectively together.
Liaising closely and regularly with the OOSH Management team on tasks and updates on OOSH Projects.
Ensure all projects meet quality standards and deliverables meet the requirements of stakeholders.Identify risks and help resolve issues before they impact project success.Prepare project reports and maintain all documentation but not limited to project progress, resources, final project closure report.
Comply with all PCYC NSW policies and procedures together with all applicable regulations and legislations.

About You If you are looking for a new role to make your own which aligns with your current career goals together with: Relevant Tertiary Qualification/ Degree in Project Management (or Equivalent) – Essential.Valid Working with Children Check and Current National Police Check.
2+ years of demonstrated experience leading and implementing projects in an OOSH environment.
Excellent interpersonal, written and communication skills, with experience writing and submitting project reports.
A proactive mindset with the ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities.
