Sales Director, Resources

The Sales Director will provide thought leadership, enable new relationships, and convert new business opportunities in the Resources & Energy sectors. The primary focus is Queensland and the East Coast.

The ideal candidate will have:10+ years of sales & business development experience in the Australian Resources & Energy sectorsProven track record of success in closing large and complex dealsRecent relationships with decision makers in major Resources & Energy companies such as Rio TintoA passion for Information Technology and an understanding of the latest technology trendsAbility to influence and lead large, complex contract negotiationsAbility to articulate complex business and technology issues in business terms to senior executives and at the board levelPrevious work experience in a leading transformation consulting firm, system integrator or major supplier to large businesses in the Australian Resources & Energy sectorsWorking experience with culturally diverse and international workforcesAustralian/NZ citizenship or Australian PRKey ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute a sales strategy that will help our client grow their business in the Resources & Energy sectorsBuild and maintain relationships with key decision makers at the target customersIdentify and qualify new sales opportunitiesClose deals and generate revenuesInfluence, motivate and demonstrate thought leadershipStay up-to-date on the latest technology trendsFor a confidential enquiry contact Pack Heng (******).
