This Senior Accountant role is with one of the largest middle market firms in Brisbane.
Working directly with partners and directors, you will get hands-on experience with some of the highest profile clients that they have on their books while also getting the opportunity to mentor juniors and grads as they come up through the ranks.
There is a high priority on a work-life balance as well as ongoing professional development to make sure that you can be the best accountant possible. You can work from home up to 4 days a week post probation.
This is a perfect opportunity for someone who is looking for a high-class, corporate firm that promotes on performance, not tenure.
From day one you will be put on the path to management, have all your key milestones laid out for you, and be given the tools to excel in your job.
The Role Preparation of financial statements, tax returns, BAS, FBT, and Payroll taxJournal entries and reconciling accountsLiaising with the ATO, ASIC, and other bodiesAd hoc advisory and research workWorking directly with and advising your clients on a range of matters About You CA/CPA Qualified (or near completion)4+ years' experienceAbility to monitor WIP and billingsSolid understanding of Tax fundamentalsExcellent written and verbal communicationEnthusiastic and a self-starter attitude Culture & Benefits 25 days holidaySport and recreation teamsSocial and wellness committeeCorporate Gym and Health Insurance ratesA packed social calendar with inter-firm and client eventsDress for your day
