Then this is your dream role Trade Business Accountants work virtually with trade and construction businesses Australia wide to provide tax accounting, bookkeeping, and business coaching all under one roof, helping our clients to proactively grow their business and make more profit – and we're looking for another superstar Tax Accountant to join us on this mission

night owl vs early riser)Work with a small client base of tradie businesses to provide more personalised, high quality, value adding advice and support (not just transactional accounting with 80-100 accounts where you feel like you don't make a difference
)Work with skilled bookkeepers and business advisors who keep client's accounts up to date so you can focus on delivering outstanding tax adviceHave complete ownership of your role with end to end client management while having support from the rest of the team wherever necessaryWe'll pay for any tech, training and equipment you need to excel in your role - we're big on development

TBA has continued to grow year-on-year and the journey so far has been nothing short of excitingMinimal weekly meetings (typically 1 standard weekly team meeting - the rest of the week is flexible appointments with clients / team members where necessary)We're very accommodating with appointments, family commitments, time off etc.

Working with a smaller client base allows us all to do a great job without sacrificing other important parts of life.You'll have a supportive management team who will always look after you and have your backHere's what you'll be doing: Have ownership over end-to-end tax planning + give practical tax advice tailored to each client's business and personal needsProducing tax returns and financial statements for companies, trusts, partnerships, and individuals (owners + partners of owners)Assisting bookkeepers with BAS and IAS preparation/lodgementsTax calculations for Division 7a, CGT and FBT etcOversight and advice of clients SMSFAdvise on business and investment structuring / asset and wealth protectionBuilding strong, long-lasting relationships with clients so they know they can count on you when it's needed (becoming their key point of contact)Liaise and negotiate with the ATO on behalf of clientsCollaborate and work closely with our business advisors and bookkeepersEnsure complete tax compliance for each clientOptimise tax systems and best practice workflowsOur ideal applicant ticks the following boxes: CA, CPA, Masters of Tax etc.
(registered tax agent highly favourable)Minimum 5 years' experience in business tax advisory within a PUBLIC PRACTICE and business services settingTech savvy and highly competent in XeroProactive, positive, and friendly personalityPassionate about speaking with and helping clients achieve great outcomes with their business and tax (this is a must as this role is client facing)Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)High attention to detailStrong and impressive knowledge of ATO legislationAbility to use initiative, set priorities and meet deadlinesOverall winner's attitude.
