Engine Workshop Technician

DESCRIPTION We are looking for a talented Heavy Diesel Mechanic to join our workshop team in Campbellfield
Ideally, our Diesel Mechanic would be Heavy Vehicle qualified, however, if you have a Light Vehicle qualification with experience in Heavy Diesel Trucks, you will also be considered.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways: Deliver a first-class service to our customersComplete repairs and maintenance of heavy diesel and engine productsDiagnose and repair various enginesEngine rebuilding and reconditioningEnsure adherence to all relevant Health Safety & Environmental policies, procedures, and legislation and report any issues/incidents to the SupervisorComplete required documentation, such as service worksheets, timesheets, warranty claims, and quality documents via handwritten forms or business system input screensRESPONSIBILITIES To be successful in this role you will need the following: Relevant Heavy Diesel trade qualification – Heavy Vehicle Mechanic, Plant Mechanic, or Diesel Fitter (to Australian standards)Light Vehicle qualified with Heavy duty exposure will also be consideredExperience as a technician in the service and maintenance of heavy diesel productsIdeally possess engine rebuild and reconditioning experience or knowledgeSolid diagnostic capabilities with the help of systems on computersSafety FocusedQUALIFICATIONS Relevant Heavy Diesel trade qualification – Heavy Vehicle Mechanic, Plant Mechanic, or Diesel Fitter (to Australian standards)Light Vehicle qualified with Heavy duty exposure will also be consideredAt Cummins, we are an equal opportunity employer dedicated to diversity in the workplace.
