Salary: $75,000 per year
Join our innovative and dedicated team at John Giles PTY LTD, a leading manufacturer in the ceramic and glassware decorating industry We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Industrial Engineer to ensure the seamless operation of our specialized machinery, including old conveyor LEHRS, box kilns, various pneumatic printing machines, 3 phase electric machines, and UV light curing.
In this dynamic role, you will be instrumental in maintaining continuous production, scheduling routine maintenance, and optimizing our manufacturing processes to uphold quality standards and efficiency. As an Industrial Engineer, you will work closely with factory operators to facilitate smooth machine operations, troubleshoot issues, and implement process improvements.
Your expertise in data reporting and analysis will play a crucial role in identifying trends, reducing downtime, and enhancing productivity. You will report directly to the Operations Manager, contributing to strategic decision-making and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities:
Maintain and ensure optimal performance of machinery, including conveyor kilns, box kilns, and various printing machines.
Schedule and coordinate routine maintenance to minimize downtime and enhance production efficiency.
Collaborate with factory operators to address operational challenges and streamline processes.
Analyze production data to identify trends and recommend solutions for continuous improvement.
Report weekly to the Operations Manager on machine performance, maintenance schedules, and production metrics.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
Experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably with ceramics and glassware.
Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data entry systems and Microsoft Office.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and communication skills.
Familiarity with machine maintenance and operational efficiency practices.
