The Future Generation Joint Venture brings together the combined engineering experience and expertise of WeBuild, Clough and Lane and has been selected to design construct Snowy 2.0.

Competitive SalaryThe FGJV Retention Bonus SchemeEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)Paid Parental LeaveQantas Club Membership discountsProfessional DevelopmentPurpose of the Role:The TBM Conveyor Supervisor will support the superintendent in the coordination and management of the fixed plant equipment needed to support the Snowy 2.0 project, particularly the installation, commissioning, running, maintenance and decommissioning of the TBM Conveyors.
The role will also oversee the utility/services installation and maintenance on the Snowy 2.0 project.
Qualifications:Trade or Qualification in Mechanical EngineeringWhite CardDriving LicenseExperience:At least 8 years operating in the same field on major infrastructure projects of comparable size and complexity to the Snowy 2.0 projectAt least 5 years of experience operating in a similar level role on a major infrastructure projectExperience in basic use of Microsoft Office Suite, data and file recording.Experience in Safety, Community and Environmental ManagementExperience in Quality ManagementExperience in Planning & ResourcingRequired Competencies:Strong Fixed Plant knowledgeExperience managing major tunnelling support plants such as Slurry Plants/Waste treatment etc.Sound knowledge of civil construction materials/serviceSound knowledge of local WHS standards and regulationsAbility to supervise team members, work closely with safety and other departments to control and maintain project safety standardsDemonstrate a positive "can-do" attitude.Ability to lead and manage teamsDemonstrate initiative and creative problem-solving skillsPractical knowledge and understanding of computers and Microsoft software packages.Good communication skills, both oral and writtenSelf-motivated.Mechanical or Electrical Trade backgroundAbility to implement and follow through on multiple issues and to achieve productive resultsSound interpersonal skillsAbility to work collaborativelyAbility to work to deadlines and targets and can prioritise tasks under pressureGood organisational skills with exceptional attention to detailThe ability to work quickly, effectively and positively in a demanding environmentThe ability to work well under pressureStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsComputer skills, competent using maintenance systemsAbility to drive performance and lead a team.Sound negotiation skillsCore Accountabilities and Responsibilities:Assist the superintendent in creating plans for scheduling and resourcing of work activityAssist the superintendent in the management and the deployment of fixed plant equipmentAssist in the development of specifications for fixed plant production and determining materials, equipment, material flows and layout of fixed plant and systemsInspect and audit the fixed plant to ensure optimum performance is maintained in accordance with Australian StandardsDirect the maintenance of the project's fixed plant and equipmentManage and coordinate fixed plant servicesCreate plans for scheduling and resourcing of work activityThe above listed authorities & responsibilities are only a guide and may change as directed by your Manager/Supervisor or as per the requirements of FGJV Management.
