The Opportunity
Imperva is seeking an experienced Area Vice-President, Sales, Australia & New Zealand to join the Global Field Sales Team.

The Area Vice President Sales (AVP) will be responsible for managing a distributed team selling Imperva Solutions and Services, and will be required to interact with existing customers or prospects within the territory.
This is both a manager and a sales coach role, whereby the AVP will apply a broad knowledge of the organization's services, products, and marketing techniques to develop large opportunities and close sales.
This highly visible and impactful role will work in conjunction with a strong sales team and partners to successfully develop and service all customers or prospects within their respective geography/territory.
Key Responsibilities:Manage sales teams in Australia and New ZealandDrive opportunities at the strategic and tactical levelWork with the sales team in territory planningKeep informed on the new products, services, and other general information of interest to customers, through successful completion of Imperva Sales Training and self-studyStay informed of customer business opportunities, current conditions, future prospects, active measurements, and competitive issues.
Regularly brief Imperva management on status, prospects, and current needs of top customersCollaborate with APJ leadership team and functions like marketing, Channels, etc.Responsible for securing new business, additional orders, and maintenance renewal orders for all license and professional services revenueParticipate in varied sales activities requiring perseverance, preparation, ingenuity, and responsibilityUnderstand and manage all phases of the sales cycleQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business related fieldDynamic, high energy sales professional and leader with 7-10 years successful experience in direct sales, high-level, executive selling of long-cycle products—ideally within Security Technology–Web Application, Database SecurityExperience selling enterprise level solutions in the security and compliance marketsDemonstrated success in achievement or over-achievement of assigned revenue quota—quarterly and annuallyExperience with Salesforce.comExcellent communication skills—written and verbalOur Company:Imperva is an analyst-recognized, cybersecurity leader—championing the fight to secure data and applications wherever they reside.
