A prestigious independent investment bank is looking for a talented Vice President to join their team.
The firm is experiencing significant growth, resulting in a strong and varied pipeline of M&A deals.
As a Vice President, you will play a crucial role in executing high-profile mergers and acquisitions.
The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of successfully executing complex transactions.
Key responsibilities include:
Lead the execution of investment banking transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, capital raising, and strategic advisory assignments. Manage and mentor a team of investment banking professionals. Take a leading role in client management activities, building and maintaining strong relationships. Conduct comprehensive financial analysis and modelling to evaluate investment opportunities. Collaborate with senior executives and other stakeholders to develop transaction strategies. Drive business development initiatives, including identifying new client opportunities. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulatory changes, and market developments. Represent the firm at industry events and conferences. The ideal candidate will have:
Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or a related field. Postgraduate qualifications such as an MBA or CFA are highly desirable. Extensive experience in investment banking, corporate finance, or related fields. Strong leadership abilities with the capacity to manage and motivate a team. In-depth knowledge of financial modelling, valuation techniques, and transaction execution. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Strong business development skills, including identifying and cultivating new client relationships. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in financial analysis tools and software. Strong project management skills.
