About the role
As a Senior Accountant at Grubers Beckett Chartered Accountants, you will play a crucial role in supporting the financial operations and reporting requirements of our growing professional services firm.
Based in our Sydney CBD office, this full-time position will see you take on a range of high-impact responsibilities within our dynamic Accounting team.
What you'll be doing Preparing and reviewing financial statements & income tax returnsConducting complex financial analysis and providing strategic recommendations to inform business decision-makingManaging the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate reportingLiaising with internal stakeholders and external auditors to ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulationsContributing to the development and implementation of improved financial processes and controlsMentoring and training junior members of the Accounting teamWhat we're looking for Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related fieldCPA, IPA or CA qualification3+ years of post-qualification experience in a similar senior accounting role, preferably within a professional services environmentExcellent technical accounting skills and in-depth knowledge of Australian Accounting StandardsStrong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detailExceptional communication and client management skillsWhat we offer
