About the role
As a Senior Accountant at Grubers Beckett Chartered Accountants, you will play a crucial role in supporting the financial operations and reporting requirements of our growing professional services firm.
Based in our Sydney CBD office, this full-time position will see you take on a range of high-impact responsibilities within our dynamic Accounting team.
What you'll be doing
Preparing and reviewing financial statements & income tax returns Conducting complex financial analysis and providing strategic recommendations to inform business decision-making Managing the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting Liaising with internal stakeholders and external auditors to ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations Contributing to the development and implementation of improved financial processes and controls Mentoring and training junior members of the Accounting team What we're looking for
Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field CPA, IPA or CA qualification 3+ years of post-qualification experience in a similar senior accounting role, preferably within a professional services environment Excellent technical accounting skills and in-depth knowledge of Australian Accounting Standards Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail Exceptional communication and client management skills What we offer
